National as an Advocacy Chapter
Our Mission
AAUP Loyola Maryland is devoted to ensuring faculty voice in governance, protecting academic freedom, and promoting greater equity between all members of the faculty.

AAUP Loyola University Maryland needs your voice! Join your colleagues in protecting academic freedom and shared governance at Loyola by joining us today. Annual Dues for the Loyola Maryland AAUP Chapter are $15 per year. Please note that there are separate dues for AAUP National (see below).

AAUP National
Membership in the national AAUP provides a wide variety of benefits and supports AAUP efforts to protect academic freedom across the country. Benefits include significant discounts via the AAUP’s association with the American Federation of Teachers. Members of the Loyola Maryland chapter of AAUP receive a small subsidy to support their first year of membership in the national organization. Please e-mail us after you have joined AAUP National in order to receive your subsidy.
